Energy Saving

Energy performance certificate

The Energy Performance Certificate (APE in Italian) is an essential document required both for notarial deeds and rental contracts.
The certificate defines the energy rating of the building, standard consumption levels for heating and hot water, percentage of energy produced from renewable sources, and many other parameters that together form sort of an energy identity card of the building.
Accurate preparation of the certificate is crucial, especially in the case of property transactions, as it protects both the seller and the buyer.
A carefully and diligently prepared certificate ensures that the buyer has a reliable indication of the property’s actual energy consumption. Likewise, it protects the seller from potential claims for damages brought by the buyer.

Energy assessment and retrofitting

The energy assessment of a building is an essential preliminary step in determining which measures should be implemented to reduce energy consumption.
After conducting an on-site survey of the building, we create a digital model that includes all elements relevant to energy performance—from the building envelope (walls, floors, slabs, and roof) to the installations. Once the model of the existing building has been developed, different retrofit solutions are evaluated by comparing intervention costs with the expected payback period, in order to identify the most cost-effective options.

Tax deduction applications

The firm has over twenty years of experience in preparing all tax deduction applications for renovation and energy-saving interventions. Our architect can guide clients in selecting the most suitable measures based on economic payback and energy savings.
