Tigliole (At)

The renovation of this building in Tigliole, intended to host a bed and breakfast, was followed in every phase—from architectural design to construction management—with the goal of restoring authenticity and identity to a structure that, over time, had lost much of its original character.

The house had undergone numerous alterations which, at a time when rural heritage was often seen as a sign of backwardness, tried to modernize its appearance, erasing much of its history. The project aimed to reverse this process by bringing back the defining features of traditional Piedmontese rural architecture. The elements that could still be preserved were carefully restored, while new construction details were introduced to re-establish the building’s original balance and harmony.

The result is a structure that blends memory and hospitality, where guests can experience the authentic atmosphere of old country houses, reinterpreted in a contemporary way to offer comfort and high-quality living.
